BALTIMORE — It was a big week for Maryland Lottery players, as a scratch-off ticket sold in Upper Marlboro delivered a $2 million prize, aMega Millionsticket sold in Silver Spring won $1 million, and a player in Glen Burnie hit Maryland’s in-state jackpot gameMulti-Matchfor $500,000.

Across Maryland, the Lottery paid more than $40.9 million in prizes during the seven-day period ending June 9, including 48 tickets worth $10,000 or more that were sold or redeemed during that span.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which isopen by appointment only.Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations.
