Every Premier League club's highest earners: Man City stars lead; Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal best-paid players revealed (2024)

The Premier League continues to grow in popularity and it is unsurprisingly home to some of the highest-paid players in the world.

Every Premier League club now receives hundreds of millions in television money and average pay packets have subsequently skyrocketed in recent years.

We’ve taken a look at the top five highest-earning players from each Premier League club.

Note: we’ve not included any players who spent the 2023/24 season on loan at a Premier League side. We’ve also left out any players who are officially leaving their club on a free transfer this summer.

Arsenal’s highest-paid players

1. Kai Havertz – £280,000-per-week
2. Gabriel Jesus – £265,000-per-week
3= Declan Rice – £240,000-per-week
3= Martin Odegaard – £240,000-per-week
5. Thomas Partey – £200,000-per-week

Havertz moved across London in the summer of 2023 and got a slight pay rise, going from £250,000-per-week at Chelsea to £280,000-per-week at Arsenal.

The Germany international could earn an additional £50,000-per-week in bonuses and Odegaard’s wages reach £300,000-per-week with bonuses.

Aston Villa’s highest-paid players

1= Youri Tielemans – £150,000-per-week
1= Boubacar Kamara – £150,000-per-week
3= Ollie Watkins – £130,000-per-week
3= Moussa Diaby – £130,000-per-week
5= Emiliano Martinez – £120,000-per-week
5= Lucas Digne – £120,000-per-week
5= John McGinn – £120,000-per-week
5= Leon Bailey – £120,000-per-week

While Villa didn’t have to pay a transfer fee for Tielemans or Kamara, they both signed lucrative contracts and are earning £150,000-a-week in wages.

Watkinshas been instrumental to Villa’s success under Unai Emery and signed a new contract in October 2023, which took his wages from £75,000-per-week to £130,000-per-week.

Bournemouth’s highest-paid players

1. Justin Kluivert – £80,000-per-week
2. Luis Sinisterra – £65,000-per-week
3. Tyler Adams – £60,000-per-week
4= David Brooks – £50,000-per-week
4= Marcos Senesi – £50,000-per-week
4= Neto – £50,000-per-week
4= Dominic Solanke – £50,000-per-week
4= Ryan Christie – £50,000-per-week

Bournemouth are now owned by American billionaireBillFoley, and they handed out big contracts toKluivert and Adams in the summer of 2023.

Sinisterra was earning £65,000-per-week at Leeds United and his loan move at Bournemouth has now been turned into a permanent deal.

Brentford’s highest-paid players

1. Ben Mee – £55,000-per-week
2. Mathias Jensen – £50,000-per-week
3. Bryan Mbeumo – £45,000-per-week
4= Kristoffer Ajer – £40,000-per-week
4= Frank Onyeka – £40,000-per-week

Brentford are widely regarded to be among the best-run and most financially sustainable clubs in England and it’s easy to see why.

Theyhavea tightly controlled wage billand Ivan Toney – who has been linked with Tottenham and Manchester United – is earning just £20,000-per-week.

Brighton’s highest-paid players

1= Lewis Dunk – £80,000-per-week
1= Kaoru Mitoma – £80,000-per-week
3. Pascal Gross – £65,000-per-week
4= Danny Welbeck – £60,000-per-week
4= James Milner – £60,000-per-week

After Adam Lallana was released at the end of the 2023/24 season, Dunk and Mitoma are now the highest-paid players at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Milner – who is second onthe Premier League’s all-time appearance list– recentlyextended his £60,000-per-week contract by another year.

Chelsea’s highest-paid players

1. Raheem Sterling – £325,000-per-week
2. Reece James – £250,000-per-week
3= Wesley Fofana – £200,000-per-week
3= Ben Chilwell – £200,000-per-week
5. Christopher Nkunku – £195,000-per-week

The first signing of the Todd Boehly era, Sterling joined Chelsea from Manchester Cityin 2022 and signed a five-year contract worth around £325,000-a-week.

Romelu Lukaku was also earning £325,000-a-weekat Stamford Bridge, but he took a pay cut before his loan move to Roma in 2023.

Crystal Palace’s highest-paid players

1= Michael Olise – £100,000-per-week
1= Eberechi Eze – £100,000-per-week
1= Dean Henderson – £100,000-per-week
4. Odsonne Edouard – £90,000-per-week
5= Nathaniel Clyne – £80,000-per-week
5= Joachim Andersen – £80,000-per-week

After rejecting a move to Chelsea in the summer of 2023, Olise stayed at Palace and was given a newfour-yearcontract worth £100,000-per-week.

TEAMtalk understands that Palace are looking to offload one of their highest earners this summer as Edouard has been put up for sale.

Everton’s highest-paid players

1. Abdoulaye Doucoure – £130,000-per-week
2. Jordan Pickford – £125,000-per-week
3= Dominic Calvert-Lewin – £100,000-per-week
3= Amadou Onana – £100,000-per-week
3= James Tarkowski – £100,000-per-week
3= Dele Alli – £100,000-per-week

Everton’s financial problemshave been well-documented but they still have six first-team players who are earning £100,000-per-week or more.

Dele hasonly managed 13 appearances in all competitions since joining the Toffees in January 2022, and heis out of contract at the end of the 2023/24 season.

Fulham’s highest-paid players

1. Bernd Leno – £130,000-per-week
2. Raul Jimenez – £100,000-per-week
3. Willian – £90,000-per-week
4= Joao Palhinha – £80,000-per-week
4= Alex Iwobi – £80,000-per-week

Leno signed a new long-term contract with Fulham in December 2023, which increased his salary by £40,000-per-week.

Jimenez is the second highest-paid player at Craven Cottage but his contract also includes another £20,000-per-week in potential bonuses.

Ipswich Town’s highest-paid players

1. Axel Tuanzebe – £20,000-per-week
2. George Hirst – £17,115-per-week
3. Samy Morsy – £12,308-per-week
4. Christian Walton – £10,000-per-week
5. Leif Davis – £9,423-per-week

Ipswich Town have the lowest wage bill in the Premier League and Kevin de Bruyne earns nearly 20 times more than their highest earner.

Leicester City’s highest-paid players

1. Jamie Vardy – £140,000-per-week
2. Harry Winks – £90,000-per-week
3= Ricardo Pereira – £80,000-per-week
3= Kelechi Iheanacho – £80,000-per-week
5= Conor Coady – £75,000-per-week
5= Dennis Praet – £75,000-per-week
5= Wilfred Ndidi – £75,000-per-week
5= Patson Daka – £75,000-per-week

Vardy helped Leicester City secure an immediate return to the Premier League in 2023/24 and is now in talks over a contract extension.

The 37-year-old striker is well-remunerated for his 12 years ofservice at the King Power Stadium, taking home a weekly salary of £140,000.

Liverpool’s highest-paid players

1. Mohamed Salah – £350,000-per-week
2. Virgil Van Dijk – £220,000-per-week
3. Trent Alexander-Arnold – £180,000-per-week
4= Alisson – £150,000-per-week
4= Ryan Gravenberch – £150,000-per-week
4= Alexis Mac Allister – £150,000-per-week

Salah signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool in 2022 andhis wages went from £200,000-per-week to £350,000-per-week, making him the highest-paid player in the club’s illustrious history.

But that pales in comparison to the £2.45million-a-week wage that Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal are reportedly willing to offer the Egypt international.

Manchester City’s highest-paid players

1. Kevin De Bruyne – £400,000-per-week
2. Erling Haaland – £375,000-per-week
3= Jack Grealish – £300,000-per-week
3= Bernardo Silva – £300,000-per-week
5. John Stones – £250,000-per-week

De Bruyne is the highest-paid player in the Premier League and earns £400,000-per-week, which equates to £20.8million-per-year.

He’s closely followed by teammate Haaland, who also has a series of bonuses in his contract that could see his weekly wage surge beyond the £850,000 mark.

Manchester United’s highest-paid players

1. Casemiro – £350,000-per-week
2. Marcus Rashford – £300,000-per-week
3= Jadon Sancho – £250,000-per-week
3= Mason Mount – £250,000-per-week
5. Bruno Fernandes – £240,000-per-week

United had the highest wage bill in the Premier League in 2023/24, but they are looking to offload some of their biggest earners.

Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial have already left the club on free transfers, whileCasemiro and Sancho have both been linked with moves away from Old Trafford.

Newcastle United’s highest-paid players

1. Bruno Guimaraes – £160,000-per-week
2. Joelinton – £150,000-per-week
3= Alexander Isak – £120,000-per-week
3= Kieran Trippier – £120,000-per-week
5. Matt Targett – £100,000-per-week

Guimaraes is the highest-paid player at Newcastle and his contract includes clauses that could take his wage up to £200,000-per-week.

Sandro Tonali signed a £120,000-per-week deal at Newcastle, but he took a voluntary pay cut after being handed a 10-month ban for gambling breaches.

“It was something he wanted to do,” Eddie Howe said. “He felt the guilt, and he felt that joining a new club it was something he wanted to show the club, in good faith, that he was sorry and was determined to put it behind him and try to learn from it.”

Nottingham Forest’s highest-paid players

1= Callum Hudson-Odoi – £80,000-per-week
1= Felipe – £80,000-per-week
1= Morgan Gibbs-White – £80,000-per-week
1= Chris Wood – £80,000-per-week
5. Ibrahim Sangare – £75,000-per-week

There is a four-way tie to be Forest’s highest earner as Gibbs-White, Felipe, Wood and Hudson-Odoi are all on £80,000-per-week.

Sangare, who joined Forest from PSV in a £30million deal in the summer of 2023, follows closely behind with a £75,000-per-week contract.

Southampton’s highest-paid players

1. Joe Aribo – £70,000-per-week
3. Jan Bednarek – £60,000-per-week
3. Adam Armstrong – £55,000-per-week
4. Alex McCarthy – £50,000-per-week
5. Jack Stephens – £45,000-per-week

Southampton had the second-highest wage bill in the Championship in 2023/24 and they secured promotion via the play-offs.

Aribo arrived from Rangers in 2022 and is currently the highest-paid player at the club, but he’s struggled toestablish himself as a first-team starter.

Tottenham’s highest-paid players

1. Son Heung-min – £190,000-per-week
2. James Maddison – £170,000-per-week
3. Timo Werner – £165,000-per-week
4. Cristian Romero – £165,000-per-week
5. Dejan Kulusevski – £110,000-per-week

Following Harry Kane’s move to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, Son Heuing-min is now the highest-paid player at Tottenham.

Spurs will cover Werner’s £165,000-per-week wages once again in 2024/25 after they agreed to extend his loan deal from RB Leipzig.

West Ham United’s highest-paid players

1. Lucas Paqueta – £150,000-per-week
2= Danny Ings – £125,000-per-week
2= Kurt Zouma – £125,000-per-week
4= Alphonse Areola – £120,000-per-week
4= Jarrod Bowen – £120,000-per-week

West Ham broke their transfer record to sign Paqueta in 2022 and theyalso shelled out a significant pay packet, handing him a £150,000-per-week contract.

But the Brazil internationalcould be facing a lengthy ban after beingcharged with spot-fixing offences in four Premier League matches.

Wolves’ highest-paid players

1. Pablo Sarabia – £90,000-per-week
2. Nelson Semedo – £80,000-per-week
3. Hee-chan Hwang – £70,000-per-week
4= Matheus Cunha – £60,000-per-week
4= Daniel Podence – £60,000-per-week

Sarabiaarrived at Wolves with some seriouspedigree, having played for Real Madrid, Sevilla, Sporting CP and Paris Saint-Germain.

The Spain international was handed a £90,000-per-week contract in the summer of 2022, but he’s struggled to justify those wages.
