Absolutely fabulous! This is the exact recipe I graciously received from Ruth's Chris Steakhouse many years ago. Well, except one small detail. The chef told me not to put the pecan crust mixture on until after it bakes. Once pulled from the oven, cover with pecan crust mixture and return to oven for about 10 minutes. This keeps the crust from having a burnt taste. Six brothers and sisters and their families come here for Thanksgiving and it is always the first empty dish!

I was amazed at how delicious this recipe is! I put mini marshmellows on top instead of the pecans and it was a smash hit at Thanksgiving 2016. For our Christmas dinner, I am trying the pecan crust because it looks delicious.

Simply the best sweet potato recipe ever! I added a little cinnamon and nutmeg. This is the first time I've EVER left a comment on any recipe and this one is worth every second I'm using to write. Enjoy!

Tried it for the first time on Christmas Eve. It was a hit. Everyone had seconds and some even thirds! Very similar to Ruth Chris sweet potato casserole. I made a little extra crust and baked in a 13X9 pan. Will make over and over. Shared recipe with family and friends.

Wow!! This is the first place winner for sweet potatoes! I have fixed this twice and there were no left overs. The friends and family could not get enough. Some of the picky eaters loved this dish. I don't comment often but I want everyone to give this one a try.I hope you try this just once and you will be hooked. A+++++++

I had dinner at Ruth's Chris in downtown San Francisco and had this side dish for the first time. I'm a regular at my local Ruth's Chris here in DC where this dish is not offered. I am also the family guru of Thanksgiving Sweet Potatoes. When I tried this dish in San Francisco I walked away a believer that this was the best sweet potatoe dish I've ever tasted. Ether it's really good of my family recipe is just not as good as I thought it was. Regardless, I'll be making both dishes this year for Thanksgiving. I guess we'll find out how this recipe holds up.

I made this one evening and it was awesome. The only things I added to the other ingredients were some cinnamon and a dash or two of nutmeg.

I was a hit at Thanksgiving and my Sweet Potato Casserole was Everyones Favorite dish!I'm a cook in training and I found this dish to be EASY and very Rewarding! But it does take a little time because you have to boil the sweet potatoes and mash them first. It's so good it could pass as a pie. I will definitely be making this for years to come.A+++
