Do I need to watch Bleach before The Thousand Year Blood War? Since The Thousand Year Blood War adapts the final chapter of the manga and picks up where the previous series left off, it is recommended that you watch the other seasons of Bleach first. If you don't, you'll be confused about the plot and the characters.

The Thousand-Year Blood War arc was divided into four cours of 13 episodes each, presumably for staggered release. The first two cours, titled The Blood Warfare and The Separation, have already finished airing, while the third cour is expected in 2024.
